We also used Inspiration software ( http://www.inspiration.com/) in the first workshop, Inspiration is a mapping and thinking tool. I created a mind map based on food, we could choose any topic. This could be a very useful tool for students, and also be used in a range of topics, for example getting students to start thinking about an essay topic.
